Marlowe's Favorite Things

lucy
out of all her dolls and stuffed animals, she chooses this one to love most... the one given to her by a carnival man.
taking pictures
 "say cheese, mama!"
her nikes & topsiders
shoes. omg shoes. she is the opposite of me when it comes to clothes. all day long. on & off. who needs pants when you can walk around the house with socks and shoes all day long?
books
she has a whole shelf to herself.
napping in mama's bed
I recently decided to take naps out of our schedule. It was working great and she would go to bed extra early, giving me a few more hours to work. Today, she climbed into my bed and decided to nap. It was super cute, but didn't exactly go with the new routine we've been working on. heh. oh well, we'll figure it out ;)
tings
aka "yellow chips" pretty much the baked, healthier, vegan, version of a cheeto. so addicting.
putting random things under the covers in mama's bed
obviously.
jerry
he's cute. I'll give him that.

  1. OMG. My little girl does the same thing in our bed. All sorts of random things and we miss stuff and wake up with things like this SD card she's attached to stuck to our butts. It's lovely. And there's nothing like a cup of acorns dumped in the fresh sheets. Nothing quite like that. :)

    1. I'm still looking for a SD card that was sitting next to my bed! I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up in our sheets (now washed multiple time)! My favorite is the shoes... I mean, who doesn't love dirty toddler shoes in their bed?

    1. LISTEN. FINE. In my defense, I originally wrote that I do that... maybe 4 times a year on my random 'special' nights out. And yes.... fine, I always bring two pairs of shoes... I JUST WANT TO BE COMFORTABLE. You win this time.

    3. hahaha. I was JUST talking to eric about this yesterday. I don't know why I get put into the "crunchy mom" category. I hardly am! I mean, I have a vegan diet and make my own deodorant... but that's kind it. You know me, I'm not crunchy-mom-tastic. I care about shoes... and sometimes purses... okay, I'm an accessory girl, totally.
