Giveaway time :) This is such a fun one, really. It took a little while (a day) for Marlowe to want to wear the cape and crown, but now? She is super woman. We watch sesame street in this house.. and occasional this one animated turtle movie, that she loves... and thats pretty much it. So, once the cape arrived, I realized that she had never really heard of superheroes or anything like that. We watched a few superhero movies and I wore the cape for a while.... imagine me: doing dishes or vacuuming, and yelling "super mommy!" every once in a while ;) It worked. Now, I have my own little superwoman running flying around.
So.... speaking of superheroes, Sarah from Native Home is offering a fun package to TWO ohdeardrea readers. Each package includes, one reversible superhero cape, one crown, and one (super adorable) monster! I wish I could show you, in better detail, how truly amazing these little homemade goods are.
Native Home is one special little shop. The two ladies behind Native Home are the absolute sweetest.... for every five monsters or capes sold, they donate one to their local ymca domestic assault shelter! How wonderful is that? And plus also: they recently added a new vintage section full of fun goodies. How cute is this dress?!

I would say my favorite item is this little vintage red romper!

It's the cutest. I could see my little lady running around in it and pulling out the grass in our front yard. Too bad it's for a 3 month old!
I love all of their stuff, but especially the little monster dolls. So cute!!
ReplyDeletebrockpaperscissorsblog@gmail.com
can't decide if my favorite is the reversible cape or the green stuffed monster. I love them both, especially since we call my son 'super baby' and my daughter 'monster' (or Godzilla). They got those nicknames while they were in the NICU for 2.5 months before coming home.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Keren

How can you pick one thing? I love the vintage stuff mixed in with all the handmade goodies. But if I had to pick something it would be the reversible dresses. Two sides so you get two outfits for the price of one. Also what is now a dress on my daughter will be a shirt next summer. The longer I can hold on to her things the less I have to spend later. Truly a bargain ( :

(By the way, I love your blog, I check it everyday. You should get a cape for yourself because you are like super Mom! hehe :) But yes, for an upcoming recipe post, could you make talk about different things to do with and how to prepare tofu? Its relatively new to me as I am now cutting meat out of my diet. Thanks !)

My favorite item is the tshirt scarf necklace. Since having my baby I've been hesitant to wear necklaces as she already yanks at my hair and I don't want her to have bead marks on her sleepy face - those soft, pretty scarves perfectly add color without endangering my neck or her cute cheeks!
